1. Know what to expect

First things first: If you want to crush your Act-essay, it helps to know what the writing section involves. Then you can prepare accordingly, and you will not be dropped off.

The action section of the law tests your ability to choose an attitude or argument to a problem, then detailed, logical and effective language to support your position. You have 40 minutes to respond to the specified prompt, plan and react in an essay format.

Your ACT composite rating reflects the average evaluations that you have received in the four fan areas: English, mathematics, reading and science.
